What I Personally Do to Stay Fit During the Holidays

QUICK TIPS TO STAY FIT DURING THE HOLIDAYS

It can be hard to stay on track during the holidays. Here’s what I’m personally doing this year to stay fit that can help you too!

  1. Bring the Healthy Dish: My family is doing a potluck this year and I assigned myself to bring the salad. That way, I have ONE thing I know I can eat that’s aligned with my goals. 
  2. Starting My Day With Movement: I’ll be going back home which means I may not have the “perfect environment” to get a great workout in. Regardless, I’m going to move my body, get my heart rate up, and get those endorphins kicking in. Movement helps me feel so much better especially when I know I’m going to be eating a lot more than usual later that day. 
  3. Pick My Poison: There are SO many choices on what to splurge on. I consciously choose what “poison” I’m going to fully indulge in and enjoy. I don’t care so much about alcohol, so I’m going to skip the added empty calories there and use them for my sister’s delicious homemade desserts instead!
